From your idea to a finished piece.
Some people arrive with a particular photo. Others know the colours or size they want and leave more of it to me. We talk about what matters to you, then work out the painting from there. Here’s the idea: a bare wall, a conversation, and a painting made for the space. Keep scrolling.

“A memory from a gig”
A customer asked me to make a birthday picture of his wife and her dad at Oasis. We adapted the photo to show more of the stage and worked through the little details together. A really personal idea, with the customer very much part of the process.

“A pair for a big space”
For a large abstract commission, we discussed the size and colours before I got started. Blue, gold, soft neutral tones, texture and gold leaf, painted onto wooden panels because of the scale.

“Something in your colours”
A few colours, a photo of the room or a memory can be a good starting point. I make stylised work, but I don't take on realistic portrait commissions; if you're not sure where your idea fits, ask.
Afterwards.
Rach made the commission process feel personal and easy. She listened to what I had in mind and created something that feels like it was made just for us. We'll treasure it.
How it goes.

- I paint itWe'll agree how I'll keep you updated while it's being painted.

What does a commission cost?
It depends on the size, materials and work involved. These are the three sizes most people ask for, drawn at true size next to someone 1.7 metres tall. Send me a little about what you’re thinking and I can give you a price.
What I won't paint: realistic portraits. I'm honest about that: I'm not good enough for it and I'd rather tell you than take your money. A stylised face is fair game.
Tell me about it.
You don’t need a perfect brief. Tell me what you have so far, even if you’re not sure about the size or colours yet.
